Mixtape - Budds
With the miracle that is the end of university assessment comes the joy of returning to somewhat human routines and joys. After those twenty-seven internet tabs are closed, the reams of now dated notes are thrown and your food pyramid regains some variety of structure, you get to finally sit down and do something that doesn’t centre around the probability of you passing a unit. Like finding new music.
To be honest, a very large part of my excitement for holidays lies in all the new tunes I will shamelessly absorb from my friends. The many hours sitting with a scratchy Bluetooth speaker at Budds beach would provide me with enough tunes to keep me going till the next.
So I hope you enjoy this four hour mix, taken from the lovely humans who run this site, and lap up that frosty winter sun.
Much love, Martoo

There is a framed motivational poster hanging in the reception of the dentist. It reads “the future is limitless” in bold Times New Roman scripture.
I sometimes find myself wishing I lived a touch (or a lot) further down the east coast.

This album has the urgency of a sweating dad holding two ice creams, as he squints to locate his family across the hot sand. And that's a good thing.
July came around, and so did the final few days of our trip. An 8 hour round-trip either side of a brilliant, free gig.
